Narrative

Relationship between visuals and tempo

Call it intuition if you must (guy alone speaking into microphone strum guitar slowly)

But you're still driving home at night (tracking person walking up to car and getting in)and he's wiping off your blush
Am I losing my mind? (guy holding hands with 'her')
Are you taking your time
(over shoulder shot looking at clock)
To get over?
(back to guitar close up on the strumming)
To get over ('her' with another man)
Call it intuition if you want (focus on face when instruments stop, then zoom out to drum and guitar when instruments come in again)
I'm still at the skatepark spilling all my precious blood
( Person sitting alone in skatepark)
Do you wanna know what I think? (Person sitting at table as 'she' walks in to room and gives kiss on cheek)
Pretty much sums it up with the color pink (Other man hands 'her' a pink flower and they get close togerther)
'Cause I'm not over (guitar man singing)
'Cause I'm not over
(increase speed between shots as tempo increases)(Person sees 'her' with other man)
Now the paper's out (paper person on bike throws onto doorstep, cover camera and transition into next)
And everybody knows about your little lie (messages pop on on phone repeatedly referring to person being cheated on)
Now the paper's cut me up
And I'm the only guy that can't seem to get it right
And your lips are making their way around (camera panning round the face and switch to different guys)
Comes
And it goes
A memory
That's over
Comes
Around
I'd let you in
But you're over
Call it intuition if you must
You're still driving home at night and he's wiping off your blush
(cyclical- person in car getting out)
Am I losing my mind? (standing in middle of road with camera panning round, slowed down, - each 180 or 90 degrees cut to him with 'her')
Are you taking your time? (close up of guitar man singing)

In the end, I chose not to go with this song. The tempo is slow and non-exciting, I don't think the target audience would be engaged. Due to the short attention span of 16-25 year olds, a more fast paced entertaining song would be more appropriate.
